Tangled

Di says - LOVED IT!!!  I can't get enough of great fairy tales (plus Zack Levi is the voice of Flynn Rider).  It was funny, exciting, romantic, scary, silly, and heartwarming.  It really had it all.  I feel I must warn against taking sensitive young children to see it though because it can be quite frightening and very intense for a good portion of the movie.  I give Tangled 9 out of 10.  (Chuck fans will appreciate when Rapunzel tells Flynn not to freak out, haha)

Where the Wild Things Are

Di says - I don't really know where to begin.  It has been two days since I watched this film and I still haven't decided if I liked it or not.  The boy seemed very strange but cute and sweet at the same time until he has a fit and starts screaming at his mother.  Then you get to the wild things place and they are like a very dysfunctional, moody, scary bunch of monsters.  There are some very artsy and interesting parts as well as some very fun happy parts.  It is based on a children's book and yet I wouldn't let my child watch it for a very long time.  The content just seemed too grown up for anyone under 13 and also too frightening.  I have no idea what to rate this movie but I would recommend it to anyone who wants to be intrigued.  I give Where the Wild Things Are ? out of 10.
