The Switch

Di says - The Switch was charming, romantic, hilarious and heartwarming.  I did find that it was a bit cheesy at times.  Jason Bateman's character was delightfully quirky and tons of fun.  The moments with the kid were adorable and made me smile.  I really enjoyed seeing this movie and would watch it over and over again.  I give The Switch 9 out of 10.

Couples Retreat

Di says - Couples Retreat is very funny and ends with a good message about marriage.  There are some very awkward moments, one in particular that gets dragged out too long (the yoga class).  I don't usually like Vince Voughn but he was quite good in this movie.  I give Couples Retreat 8 out of 10.

Jenn says - I watched this movie for the first time with Rick and we liked it a lot, I thought it was funny although there are some inappropriate parts.  I have been trying to get Di to watch it and she finally gave in.  I especially thought that the part in the home improvement store was funny.  I also give couples retreat 8 out of 10.

The Bounty Hunter

Jenn says -  The Bounty Hunter was a great date night movie.  The combining of a drug plot with a rekindling romance makes it a great pick for such an event.  The love/hate relationship between Milo and Nicole creates great comedic opportunities for emotion filled one liners and back and forth banter which only occasionally borders cheesy.  Although the crime plot is not fantastic it does give the movie some excitement.  The addition of the Stuart character to create more humor fell short in my books and really could have just been left out. Two special points of enjoyment: Milo's laugh of satisfaction throughout the film and the outfit he wore to dinner at Cupid's cabin.   All in all I would give this movie an 8 out of 10.

Di says -  The Bounty Hunter was a decent romantic comedy even though I am not a huge Jennifer Aniston fan, but lets be honest, you can't go wrong with a Gerard Butler film, HOT!!  I appreciated the action and crime solving aspect so that I didn't have to twist my husbands arm to watch it with me.  Due to the course language used throughout it definitely is not a movie to watch with your grandmother, haha.  I really enjoyed the love/hate relationship of the main characters and Gerard Butler's vengeful laughter.
Overall score: 7.75 out of 10
